DRS undertake decommissioning and decontamination work on a variety of buildings, structures and facilities. We can offer a full advice and support service providing you with effective solutions to a wide range of operational problems.

We can complete decommissioning and decontamination work as part of a single package or together with strip out and demolition works, reducing the number of contractors and overall cost of a project.

DRS are registered with the Environment Agency and are fully insured to undertake waste management activities. Our diverse range of specialist Plant, Equipment and Transportation along with trained and experienced personnel ensures that we are capable of completing any project on time and within budget.

On planned work we would carry out a full site investigation and desk study which would be developed into a strategic plan to meet your specific requirements.

This would include:

• The identification and classification of hazardous materials and substances.
• Advice and information regarding legal responsibilities and duties.
• Negotiation of prices to meet your specific budgets.
• Suitable written methods for the correct removal, storage and handling including associated risks.
• Suitable Transportation methods.
• Identification of suitably licensed disposal routes and implementation of waste management solutions in accordance with legal requirements.
• Completion of any documentation or legally required notifications.

In addition to planned work, DRS decommissioning and decontamination is available on a nationwide basis 24 hours day and covers emergency situations.
