DRS have a policy to recycle wherever possible, our ongoing commitment to the protection of the Environment has led us to Salvage and Recycle 95% of the materials produced from our Demolition activities.

Generous allowances for salvageable materials can often be reflected in the price quoted for a Demolition project.

Salvage materials include all types of crushable and screenable materials. Our specialist plant & equipment can screen and crush materials to your own specification, our crushers are fitted with powerful overband magnets to ensure the extraction of all steel.

All hard materials are taken to our crushing and recycling area - crushed materials can then be used for hardcore as capping layers for roads and footpaths, with by-products such as topsoil and pipe bedding.

We have the resources to set up and manage screening and crushing facilities on site which often reduces the environmental impact from road lorries and the double handling of materials by Plant.

Quarried stone is available on request from one of our quarries to your specification including stone chippings, crushed materials, gabion stone and rock armour.
