Asbestos Removal
Depending on the age and previous use of a building or structure asbestos may be present. It should always be assumed that asbestos or asbestos containing materials are present until a suitable and sufficient assessment has been carried out.
DRS are experienced Health & Safety Executive Licensed Asbestos Removal Contractors and provide a 'one stop shop' service for our clients, which includes:
- Initial site visit and visual survey to identify the possibility of asbestos or asbestos containing materials being present.
- Advice and information regarding legal responsibilities and duties.
- Desk top studies.
- Arrange full surveys and ensure a suitable and sufficient assessment has been carried out.
- Assistance with budgets and quotations for removal.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation and legally required notifications are in place.
- Plan and carry out the safe removal of any identified and unidentified asbestos or asbestos containing materials in controlled conditions.
- Ensure the asbestos or asbestos containing materials are disposed of to a suitably licensed facility.
- Plan and co-ordinate the safe removal of asbestos or asbestos containing materials with subsequent demolition or strip out works.
On any project, early involvement is essential. Our knowledge and experience can prevent delays and additional project costs, which are very often encountered when asbestos or asbestos containing materials are identified once a project has started.
